Description
As a Test Engineer, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications. You will utilize your expertise in manual and automation testing methodologies, coupled with your knowledge of Agile-Scrum principles, to contribute to the success of our projects. This role demands a proactive individual with exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills, capable of thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop comprehensive test designs, processes, cases, and data sets.
· Execute tests following established procedures.
· Create and maintain test scripts and automation frameworks for efficient regression testing.
· Conduct functional, regression, security, and performance testing to ensure software robustness.
· Perform both black box and white box testing techniques.
· Identify opportunities to automate repetitive testing tasks.
· Identify, report, and monitor defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
· Participate in sprint planning meetings to provide testing insights and estimate timelines.
· Utilize bug tracking tools for efficient defect management.
· Draft comprehensive release notes for software updates.
Required Skills & Abilities:
· Minimum 2 years of testing experience.
· Proficiency in Automation testing, Manual testing, and API testing.
· Extensive knowledge of automation frameworks and tools.
· Ability to troubleshoot automation script issues effectively.
· Familiarity with Selenium and other automation testing tools.
· Solid grasp of software testing principles and methodologies.
· Exceptional problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for collaborative teamwork.
· Meticulous attention to detail and a dedication to delivering high-quality software.
· Proven experience in manual testing of web or mobile applications.
· Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
· Comprehensive understanding of software development and test life cycle activities.
