We are seeking a dedicated Software Tester to join our company. In addition to our primary offerings of insurance, risk management, reinsurance and underwriting, our group firms also engage in venture capital, Insurtech, Fintech, and Environmental and Social Governance sectors.
Job Description:
Analysing user stories and/use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility
Construct test scenarios based on user stories or requirements
Construct systematic test cases from scenarios for applications based on user stories or requirements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and specifications
Participate in test planning, requirement analysis, and test strategy development
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for software applications
Implement automated test frameworks and tools to support test automation efforts
Familiarity with automated testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar
Participate in requirement analysis and review meetings to ensure testability and to provide input on potential risks.
Collaborate with automation engineers to design and implement automated test scripts.
Stay updated on industry best practices, testing tools, and methodologies to continuously improve the quality assurance process.
Preferred Skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a QA Tester or similar role in software development.
Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Experience with both manual and automated testing is a plus.
