The teams will handle its existing applications portfolio in terms of product development ongoing support and maintenance, develop and deliver solutions for new initiatives, and also participate in the application modernization program. Towards this, Kott Software is looking for highly skilled software testers to contribute to these initiatives.


Job Responsibilities:

Software manual Testing and related activities in a web-based application environment.
To work closely in an Agile development team environment and meet release plan schedules and patch management.
Developing and implementing test plans, test strategy, test cases, test reports for various testing like unit, regression, functional & performance testing.
Recording and tracking defects through a Web-based project management tool
Setting up and following procedures for bug/issues/defects
Responsible for testing all software products/projects.
May need to work in flexible time to attend US/Europe client meetings.
Technical / Functional: (Must Have skills)

Prior experience in Testing Web-based applications / Enterprise level applications.
Hands-on experience in Manual Testing.
Sound knowledge of STLC, software testing methodologies, and procedures
Identifying Test scenarios, creating test plans, test strategy, test cases, and execution.
Sound understanding and developing/executing test cases in an application development environment.
Knowledge of Quality Assurance/testing life cycle Process is a plus.
Should have at MINIMUM 1+ years' experience in developing AND executing test cases in a client-driven environment.
Experience in using any bug-tracking tools
Preferred skills

Sound knowledge of software testing methodologies and procedures.
Hands-on in a live project environment in Selenium / UFT / QTP automation tool is a plus.
The ability to write scripts in Java or VB Scripts is an advantage.
Basic SQL concepts and query writing.
Prior experience in software product development environment is a plus.
Good communication & interpersonal skills
Team player as well as the ability to work independently as work demands.
Ability to think OUT OF THE BOX
Ability to implement and execute test plans diligently and deliver on time
Ability to coordinate with the development team.
Preferred Experience:
Overall 1 - 5 years in software QA.
Minimum 1+ year of testing web applications and STLC process.
Developer community work environment exposure.

Client level engagement.
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech./M.C.A./BCA/BSc. with a Diploma in software testing or quality assurance.
