Description
We are seeking skilled and motivated individuals who love data and statistics and who are eager to continuously enhance their skills and knowledge through self-learning and collaborative workshops.
As a Data Analyst/Data Scientist, you will be responsible for creating data pipelines, fetching data via ETL/ELT mechanisms, processing and analysing the data, creating business KPIs and visualizing the data as beautiful dashboards in order to extract valuable insights and provide actionable recommendations.
Job Responsibilities
Gather, cleanse, and organize data from various sources, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
Analyse complex datasets using data mining, statistical techniques, and visualization tools to identify patterns, trends, and correlations.
Interpret the findings and provide meaningful insights and recommendations to key stakeholders.
Translate complex analytical results into clear and concise reports, presentations, or visualizations that are easily understandable by both technical and non-technical audiences.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business challenges and develop analytical approaches to address them.
Develop and implement metrics and KPIs to monitor the performance of key business areas and initiatives.
Continuously track and evaluate data to identify areas of improvement, potential risks, and opportunities for optimization.
Preferred skills
Certification and/or experience in Data Analysis, Data Science, or Data Engineering
Strong knowledge of statistical concepts and techniques.
Solid understanding of relational and non-relational databases and good SQL querying skills
Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R
Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
Knowledge of Machine Learning and Deep Learning concepts will be an added advantage
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
